One of the stalls that I particularly liked was this handmade jewellery which was so original as the bracelets wrapped around your wrist. I found this appealing as I have trouble with the catches on bracelets with my arthritis. I bought a pink stone bracelet that is really gorgeous. The website is here and they post anywhere.

WINCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET

It takes about two hours to get to Winchester from Folkestone depending on the traffic but as we went on a Sunday the roads were pretty clear. I had never been to Winchester, I was amazed at so many old buildings, the Cathedral was lovely with such great stained glass windows. I was thrilled to see Jane Austin’s grave on the floor of the Cathedral. The High Street is one of the longest I have seen and it was great to see all the individual shops open and doing well.
