The ladies that lunch had a day out to Margate, and we went to the amazing Shell Grotto. This is certainly worth going to see. What they built years ago with shells is just so beautiful. 4.6 million shells arranged in so many artistic designs that they just take your breath away. There is also a grotto shop with many unusual products you can purchase. I love the multi coloured earrings that I bought. This really is an amazing place to go and see. I highly recommend it. FRIDAY 8th MARCH 2024 There was a huge buzz about Women’s Day on Friday, with many events in Kent. I attended one in Margate organised by Joanna, my friend’s daughter, so we met up and had a good catch-up over dinner before the event. The compere of the evening was brilliant actually, the whole evening was great with so many laughs. Lots of women doing what they do really great, with a brilliant turnout.
