This superb restaurant is situated at the bottom of The Leas, overlooking the sea. It is nicely decorated with plenty of space between the tables and comfortable chairs. The menu is vast with so many choices it takes a while to read it through. We had a tasty white wine sangria with plenty of fruit while we were deciding what to have to eat. They say change is good even if it comes at a time when we don’t want to embrace it. I guess it depends on the circumstances and whatever changes in your life. What a brilliant event from the organisation to the talks it was one of the best! The new curators Jen Thatcher and James Harkin did an outstanding job with many interesting authors and events this year. I attended some of the talks including Frances Tophill from Gardeners World which was a highlight for me as gardening is one of my passions. I bought one of her books about rewilding your garden, which is good and available on Amazon.
