Some of the family enjoyed a long weekend at Pontins, Cambersands, we did have a laugh. Jade became the crazy golf champion taking the title from Mia who won last time we were there. It was so good to have a break away but now I am looking forward to getting my camper back and driving off.
The boys took the title for the dancing as they were straight up there, that would have been the girls a few years ago, how things change. The entertainment was tribute acts but still good. I thought the best bit was the game the blue coats played each evening with some of the audience, we did laugh.
I love this photo it was just a fluke that everybody moved and I got the empty beach as there was a few people walking about. I wrote a poem to go with it and that will go on the Write by the sea website.
It bought back memories seeing Captain Croc as 27 years ago it was Captain Croc that took my son Sam’s dummy away….well thats what sam thinks lol.
The kids all ended up with these squishy toys that light up and a bubble machine so they were happy. When the children go up on stage to do a competition it always makes me laugh that when they are asked where they come from they always reply with ‘England’
Both days they went swimming as the pool is so warm in fact it is the warmest pool I have ever been in! No photos allowed to be taken though which is understandable.
A good time was had by all of us.
