I am still struck by how absolutely amazing this book is and it is by a local Folkestone writer! Who just happens to be in the police force doing his day job as well.
This was by far one of the best books I have read, there was no way you could guess what happens at the end. Some might say it was a bit gory but I think it had to be to make this stand out as different. It is written superbly and I really like the characters who work well and are not in your face.
When girls go missing you know its going to be bad but I loved the twist at the end and especially as it was at The Warren which is in my town of Folkestone. There really was a man who used to live there off grid years ago.
I cannot wait to read another one of Charlies books lets hope they are all as good as this or maybe even better. We are seeing some remarkable talent coming out from our local authors in Kent.
