CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Christmas arrived in Folkestone last night as it was the switch on of the lights.  What a great atmosphere it was with every shop open including some new ones, I will be doing posts on some of them during the week.  The mulled wine and prosecco was going down well with everyone as they all stopped to chat, the coffee shops were full and the mince pies delicious.  I was really pleased I made the effort and went down there, I was amazed at the number of people that stopped to chat and say hello to me and that is because of this blog.  I have met some interesting and lovely people, the community of the Creative Quarter are the best I have met on my travels.

Folkestone Book Festival is running now so will attending many events and blogging about them so the next two weeks are going to be very busy.  I will be keeping up with the NaNoWriMo but I imagine my word count will not be as good as what it has been, it’s a shame I can’t count my blog post words lol.

Today I am attending a Mindfullness talk this afternoon then tonight I am meeting Matt Haig so I have a very interesting day lined up.

We didn’t get any snow as I predicted but it is sunny and windy so that’s all good the snow can keep away from Kent until after the Book Festival!  Have a great day everyone and see you later.
