This is where I went yesterday with my bestie Corinne, her daughter gave her the tickets for looking after the family when she had an operation and Corinne asked me to go with her.  I was so honoured, neither of us had been before and it was one of the things on our bucket list.  What a brilliant day and so much to see, we worked out that we were walking about for hours.  You can buy some flowers from the stalls and it is a very hard choice to decide which to get.  I settled on a pack of climbers as that’s what I needed for the garden.  I have not been very lucky with climbers but they gave me an information sheet about how to plant and what to do so I am really looking forward to these all growing especially the Jasmine by my back door.  Smelling that lovely sweet smell will always put a smile on my face.

The beautiful scents from the Hyacinth were the strongest so I will be planting a lot more bulbs later in the year.  The amount of things to look at there is amazing and I will do a blog with all the photographs I took on my camera.  I am looking forward to the lily’s growing, I got some great pink colours.  My garden will look great if everything flowers as I have gone for so many different shades of pink in all the flowers.  The sweet peas looked wonderful so many shades and varieties so I had to buy some seeds, I have never grown sweep peas before, goodness knows why as they are beautiful.  I would love to have enough flowers in my garden so that I could pick some every week to go indoors so the wonderful scents would spread through the flat.

I got some ideas of what plants to get for my pond I am doing, again I want some colour in there but my plan is to have it very natural so frogs live here and then hopefully they will eat all the slugs.  I bet they get very fat though as slugs are everywhere at the moment, I really do dislike them.

Corinne treated us both to a cup, which is divine and everytime we have a cup of tea in it we will remember our wonderful day at The Chelsea Flower Show 2015 even the box is gorgeous, I will have to think about what to keep in it as its a keeper.

I also bought some cute little notelets, very handy if you just need to send a thank you and what a brilliant price 50p. The glass is a super idea as the lid stops the bugs or wasps getting in your drink if you take it outside.  Also very handy to take a drink of water to bed with you, then these strange little spiders that may be around cannot surprise you in your drink.  I always think about spiders as they do reckon that you eat a few in your sleep, I am sure I would wake up though.

Last of all we got a cute little leather heart to hang in the window.  We are both extremely alike so shopping is easy as we both head for the same places and most of the time want to buy the same things.

After an absolute brilliant day we were very glad to get home for a cup tea and sit down.  I have woken this morning to so many aches and pains, I’m not sure what hurts more so it’s a very quiet day for me today.  Shame it’s not sunny as I could been getting a tan, instead it’s jeans and jumpers again.  At least the weather was nice to us yesterday.  Have a great bank holiday weekend everyone. I don’t think it is an every year place to visit as it is only the displays that change. I was disappointed that there were not more normal, average gardens so you could get ideas for your own.
Legs still feel like they belong to someone else! Xxx
