For all the children that like growing things in the garden, this book is ideal. The pictures are catchy and get their attention. In fact they are so detailed that they could make up another story as well.  These early reading books are very good I think and there is a great selection of them to choose from.

During August I am hoping to arrange a workshop for children so they can meet Claire who wrote these books and maybe take home some seeds to grow themselves.

They will want to grow pumpkins as soon as they have read this and this is part of a series so the little gardeners will be taking over your garden in the summer.

My granddaughter thought this was super and then tried to copy the sun flower picture herself which was really good. I love the names in here especially Mrs McWelly!

Happy reading
