So many things going on in Folkestone this summer! Folkestones writing group, Write By The Sea will be there so pop along and have a chat if you are thinking of joining the group. My sister had another party at the weekend which was really good, mostly all family so it’s lovely to catch up with everyone. The view is amazing from her house, it was a shame we still had the awful wind, we could do with a bit of the heat from Europe. On a clear day, you can see France in the distance. 5th 6th AUGUST 2023 What a great weekend this will be in August, the rafts that people make are great to see and for the first time this year there will be a paddle board race, which should be fun. WEDNESDAY UNTIL SUNDAY FROM THE 26th JULY This is one of my favourite food festivals that is local to myself, it’s also nice to catch up with friends there and experience all the new stalls. The writing group I run has a marquee with many local authors coming along to meet their readers to sign and sell their books.
