So many things happening I’m not sure where to start!
WRITE BY THE SEA IN FOLKESTONE moves to its permanent home at The Chambers Coffee Shop which I am really excited about. The next meeting will be on Thursday 11th April at 6.30. This will be a group meeting where we will give out news and events also share work for feedback. Hannah will be presenting the exercise for us.
Then on the 25th April we have our guest speaker Jennifer Thatcher who will be talking about her career in journalism, reviewing and pitching. I am sure that is going to be really interesting and I have questions already to ask.
Easter is also looming up so I am hoping to get away in the camper, let’s hope for warm weather and lots of chocolate eggs!
Have you painted an egg and sent a picture into East Cliff Creative? Here are the details for #COLLABOREGGS.
EAST CLIFF CREATIVES
This is a fun Easter themed collaboration project that anyone can join in, young or old, anywhere in the world.
The idea is simple, decorate an egg for Easter at home, take a picture and share it on Instagram using #collaboreggs
Don’t use Instagram? No problem! Send your pictures to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will post them for you!
You can create any design you like on your egg. You can be traditional and paint an egg, or be more experimental. How about some decopage, or project an image onto the egg surface (inside or out), or add arms and legs to create a character. Your imagination is the only limitation. If you are Vegan why not paint a wooden egg!
You don’t have to be artistic to take part, just a creative at heart, which we all are.
The top designs will also be featured on our East Cliff Creatives Collaboreggs gallery and also on the eastcliffcreatives Facebook page.
Just to be clear, if you use a real egg DO NOT eat the contents, while, or after it is decorated.
East Cliff Creatives take no responsibility for any illness caused by consuming painted eggs.
A lot of things appear to be happening so I am trying to pace myself, easier said than done, I fear. At the moment I am resting indoors and have no plans for the next week or so. I am feeling rather washed out, Dr thinks it’s a virus I think it’s the M.E. and I am exhausted.
