First stop in the camper van and what a beautiful setting, waking up and opening the door to the view of the sea, boats bobbing along in the distance.  Five acres of grassland for you to camp where ever you like and the best bit, it is only £10 a person in the high season.
Boiling up the kettle for a cup of tea, think I will just pop in the shower before dinner, wow!  How hot is that water, every time I find something new about the camper I am amazed.  There is actually nothing you can’t do in here and the sun is shining.  Sitting at the table and chair outside writing a short story is my idea of bliss, why did I not do this before but I think everything has fallen into place very nicely for a change, maybe my luck is changing!
Alfie has slept in with me for two nights and he also loves it, even the teenagers want to come and stay!  I have my fairy lights up outside and inside, can’t wait to get my bunting that Corinne has for me.

Jodie is cooking a cake in her camping hot stove and I think its spaghetti for dinner tonight.  I don’t think I would ever get bored with seeing new places along the coast as I do like to have a sea view.
Alfie and myself went to the village today, so quant and the gorgeous little cottages were so sweet, this one is for sale.
There is a pub they do a super Sunday lunch apparently, the butchers which will be handy when we do a barbecue.  A post office that sells just about everything you would need.

Fantastic break.  How is your summer going?

I think it’s the solitude and easiness of it all. Seeing different places is always amazing x

Sounds ideal Karen. So glad you’re happy. Reg and I used to love our caravan and went to loads of places in it. Unfortunately Dennis wasn’t a camper and I wasn’t able to help him set up so we sold it 18 months ago. I miss it tho – when I still lived at Stelling Minnis and we kept it in our garden I used to go sit in it sometimes and it felt so peaceful, strange when I could sit in my garden surrounded by fields, but it just felt different. Love Gillian xxx
