WATERFALL IN WALES – RHAEADR DYSERTH WATERFALL

On the way back from Colwyn Bay we saw a small sign towards a waterfall and decided to follow the route and see what it was like.  We were not disappointed as it was breathtaking, I could not walk up to the top and look down so my pictures are all looking up but it still looks good.  It was a tiny village with a pub and cafe by the falls, not that you needed anything else as the scenery was superb.

You only just missed the duck races at Dyserth Waterfall. (Rhaeadr means waterfall). Not too far away in another little village is a nice garden centre/gift shop with lovely tea rooms should you ever come back.

We found that waterfall as well while on holiday in Wales and went for a picnic one day. It is a wonderful little gem.
