It was nice to go back here again and see all the new things on the menu and what a choice for drinks! They are open all day and some evenings with entertainment so it’s another lovely place to go for a quiet snack or a coffee.

As you can see the menu has changed a bit with some super new things to try. We went for lunch I had the jacket potato, then there was a toasted sandwich and salmon sandwich. It was all delicious and went down well with a chilled glass of white wine.

I am still loving the fish on the wall also you can take your own CD in to listen to while you are there, only place I know that does that but what a great idea!

All very clean, service is friendly and yes you do have to wait while they cook your food but at least you know it is all fresh.

The cakes look so good so I will be going back very soon for coffee and cake.

Love this place too, for all the reasons you cite. It has become an established and increasingly popular part of the “Village” scene on Bouverie Road West, alongside several other excellent eateries. I have wondered sometimes whether it would fit better in or near the Creative Quarter, but then I think it works well where it is, even if it is slightly off the beaten track. But marketing like this will do it no harm in encouraging even more customers.

What do you think?
