THE GIRL IN THE CORNER BY AMANDA PROWSE – BOOK REVIEW

PUBLISHED ON THE 11th DECEMBER 2018

What a wonderful and very down to earth story by the brilliant Amanda Prowse. I sometimes think that her books cannot get any better but there she goes again and takes the wind right out of my sails. I would like to thank Netgalley for giving me the opportunity of reading and reviewing one of my favourite authors. This is Amanda’s 21st novel with the ideas and strong story lines still coming and going straight to the top of the Amazon charts.

Marriage is never easy but betrayal is one of the worse things to over come with many not being able to and as Rae-Valentine tries to understand her husbands betrayal she decides to go on her 25th wedding anniversary holiday with Dolly her sister-in-law instead of her husband Howard.

The emotions she goes through carry on everyday and she just cannot get over what he did, she thought they were so close, was her marriage a farce? Was there any point of carrying on with it, should she now do the things that she always thought her life would consist of instead of being the rock that the family thought she was.

Through the many twists and turns in this book and the ending that made me sit up in a shocked manner, I really was not expecting that!

This is another master piece that I will recommend to everyone.
