FLOWERS AND BOOKS
If friends were flowers I would always pick you. What a brilliant present idea for a gardener! You could use real or an artificial plant then maybe packets of seeds in their favourite colour. You can get some very varied and unusual shower curtains now especially if you buy them online. I thought this was a great idea and I will be doing it myself. You buy a shower curtain then make a basic wooden frame then staple it together, how simple is that, I think even I would be able to do that. You can buy the wood cut to size in some places so then just nail it all together and then attach the curtain. What a fantastic addition to the boring garden fence or the side of a shed or garage.…

There are some beautiful cards and designs here in the small hut on the Harbour Arm, so many local people design and make such wonderful things to sell here in the Marketplace. I think I will start walking along the beach to collect some sea glass as it all looks amazing.

THE DESSERT FOLKES After watching the Kate Bush display last weekend I popped into this new dessert place for a hot chocolate and a mint aero cookie, which I must say was delicious. I love just having a drink and people watching, I would never have thought there were so many styles of red dresses walking about on The Arm. There is inside and outside seating so a perfect place for dessert in all weathers.
