Amanda is an author that you know will always please you and leave you looking forward to the next book. Writing very quick and full of feeling just like she has experienced all that she writes about. Very few characters in her stories but they have so much to say plus they always really blend together so well.
This story tells of how one lie can almost destroy everything in a family so the journey that Victoria takes to learn about her mother that she never knew she had is heartbreaking at times. How do you form a relationship with your mother when you have lived nineteen years thinking she died when you were a baby. This will keep you turning the pages until the end.
