I am the very proud owner of a Peugeot Boxer Autosleeper 1.9 TD!
I cannot describe how happy I am to finally be the owner of a camper van, I used to have an old Volkswagen a few years ago and have always wanted to upgrade so that I had my own toilet and shower, meaning you could just stop more or less anywhere.
Over the weekend I have been reading up how everything works and getting used to it, there is power steering so that makes it so much better than my old one as I used to think my arms would drop off from all the turning.  The more I look and read the more gadgets and bits I find and I can honestly say that it has everything that was on my list!  It is also in really good condition with all history.  The previous owners have really looked after it well.
I have added a page to my web-site for camper travels and I will do the same on this blog, so where ever I go you can all come to.  I want to start doing some more travel articles and hopefully get them in some magazines, I did think of starting my own on-line one but I feel that would take up to much of my time.

I will take some more pictures inside when I have added a few things.  I have also made a Pinterest board about “My Camper”
I love these bunting campers, they would look great with fairy lights as well wound round them, hope Sylvie is reading this as she is soooooooo good at patchwork.

Happy holidays everyone.

Oh to be able to fit a toilet and shower in our little bongo! Happy vanning 🚐💨😃

  14. We also had a VW camper bus about 40 years ago. Many campers over the years. Then we became full time motorhome RV’ers in our 39 ft. beauty Itasca from 2000 – 2006. What a lifestyle and wonderful opportunity it turned out to be, meeting all these terrific people all over the country! Happy trails . . .

I didn’t know that you could find such conveniences in a van of that size. Congrats!

Wow Karen, that’s brilliant! Where are you keeping it tho? It looks lovely and I see it has a sun canopy to pull out too. You’ll be an even more popular Nanny now! Gillian xxx

Happy camping. Me and my hubby had a motorhome and it was with absolutely no doubt the best thing we ever did. We never went abroad in ours cis there is so many fantastic places in the UK. Our favourite destination was Somerset, Devon and Cornwall..
