You cannot beat a nice Sunday roast and that is what I had today round at Jodie’s house, why does it always taste better when someone else cooks it?
It has finished the summer holidays of very nicely, well for George and Jodie as they are back tomorrow but Izzy and Alfie are not back until Tuesday so we are having a day together.
Then I have a few days to get planning for my next writing plot, for the Book Festival competition as it has to be in by 31st October.
I saw this advert for The Salt Festival on Facebook and realised it was myself and Angela at one of the workshops last year.  This one looks good so I am sure we will be attending.
I had some new shelves put up and a new TV on the wall in my lounge, I am really pleased with it all as it makes the room seem so much bigger and of course more room for books.
Hope you all had a good weekend. x

The lounge looks lovely as did the Sunday dinner. I had a roast beef dinner in Prestatyn and it was wonderful except I’d love to have sweet potato mash with it. You’re going to have to sample the delights of The Cookhouse if you return again this year Karen.
