SATURDAY IN FOLKESTONE AT THE VINTAGE FETE

To say that this is a quiet seaside town, you would be very wrong as there appears to always be something going on. Who can remember what shows used to be put on in one of these tents?

Punch and Judy, I wonder what the children thought of that? It certainly made me remember sitting on the sand or grass watching them.

The vintage fete looked like a good success up on The Leas, lots of old cars to make you remember times gone by. Swing music was being played with so many people singing or swaying along to it.

There was such a lovely atmoshere here on Saturday and nice to just wander about and have a sit down. The bandstand had live music with many people dancing.IMG_0296.jpg

Further down The Leas by The Leas Cliff Hall there was more music with many people dressed up, dancing, it was really good to sit and watch.

A brilliant, relaxing day in Folkestone.

Great pictures of the cars from Patricia, thank you x
