This is such a lovely idea with many towns and villages setting these up. Very easy to make and provide so much enjoyment for many people. You can have just children’s ones which are a bit lower so they can reach them. For many people not able to reach a library these little ones are ideal.
I was so pleased when I saw this one in Cheriton High Street that I just had to blog about it and let you know. I would love to have one of these outside my house as I always have books I have read which I normally take them to the Oxfam charity book shop in Folkestone.
There are 40,000 small book exchanges worldwide with 26 in the whole country. That should now be 27, I think we can do better than this so I am going to keep a listen out for any more developing in the UK.
