Can you believe it will be the 1st June tomorrow so on the 21st we have the longest day and then they start on the road to getting shorter again.  You can count the hot sunny days on one hand so far which is not a nice thought but on a positive note they are predicting high temperatures by Thursday……don’t hold your breath though.

I have had a relaxing weekend, not intentional but the body decided that sleep was the only thing it wanted to do yesterday, so that’s what I did as best not to argue.  Today I have been reading Helen Faul’s book which I must say I am finding very intriguing but I did a very silly thing and started to read a book on my Kindle at the same time so now I never know which one to read and then I have to re-read a few pages to get me back into the story.  I am a one book girl and two just confuses me!  Can you read two or more at the same time?  I know some people can with ease, perhaps it’s my age.

I also found a new app this morning called WISH so I then spent well over an hour looking at all the bargains on there and of course I had to buy a couple of bits, all for research purposes of course.

Eldest daughter has been camping all week as it has been half term here in the UK, they are at a place near Canterbury.  Very rural with ponds, walks and a lovely pub in the village where you can collect your own fresh eggs from the hen house to buy.

I love the different colours of eggs, good job Alfie is small to fit in the hen house.  They are well set up with their Bell tents and the one in the middle is the kitchen.  All mod cons they make cakes and all sorts in the Dutch oven. The older children are not so keen on camping now and want to spend time with their friends but they all want to go in the summer holidays as they are heading off to The south of France with many stops to see the attractions on the way, bit more exciting that catching frogs lol

I best get back to the writing as need to finish this story and send it off with a positive attitude.  One can try!

Ah-h-h, camping! When my daughters were young we tent camped from New York to Florida all along the eastern seaboard ending at Disneyworld, of course. Oh how I miss the energy I had in those days. 🙂

What do you think?
