HAS IT TOUCHED YOUR LIFE?

I thought these words for very appropriate for the times we are living through at the moment, I know things are getting better but I feel like it is all on a knife-edge and it could all get worse in the blink of an eye. I cannot imagine the unbearable pain that some people have gone through in so many ways.

I am waiting for my second jab next month and I actually went to the hairdressers last week, I still do my shopping online as let’s face it it’s so much easier than traipsing around a shop and lugging it home.

Like many who have gardens, they are all looking splendid after all the care and attention that has been lavished on them. Many plants are established now so putting on a great show this year.

I wish the doctor’s surgeries would get back to normal, they still have a closed-door policy here so you have to ring in the morning and it is just by luck if you get through. The doctor will then ring you later in the day for a phone consultation, considering most places are open now I fail to see why the surgeries have not gone back to previous openings. They say it could take five years for the NHS to clear the backlog, if local doctors went back to work properly that may help the situation. I know this is not happening at every doctor’s but I know of many areas in Kent that this is happening right now. Boris never mentions anything in his bulletin about local doctors, why?  My appointments with the heart doctor have been cancelled so many times and it now stands in December for a phone consultation!

Let’s hope the budda keeps me calm and laughing, take care

It’s strange at the moment Karen. If you’ve seen my blog I’ve been stuck in a couple of months with my leg. My doctor knows I don’t talk on the phone so I was surprised to get a letter to say I needed a review. Go for a blood test and the arrange a telephone consultation. Just not gonna happen. My daughter has arranged for my district nurse to take the blood and the doctor will hold the consultation with my daughter? Also, I’ve had a few antibiotics and painkillers during this problem but to get a repeat the doctor has relied on photographs taken by my district nurse And if the doctor does come, heaven forbid they remove a dressing, assess things and put the dressing back. Ah well, things are getting better so I’d better prepare myself for the nurse.
    Huge Hugs
