HALF TERM IN UK

IMG_2605

Its half term here so the kids have all week off on holiday.  A lot of them are getting their outfits for Halloween, which is big business here now.  A lot of parents have parties as they do not like the children to go out knocking on doors, trick or treating but there are still loads that do and a lot take the parents with them all dressed up as well.   I cannot remember doing anything for Halloween when I was small and even when I had my children we still did not celebrate.  It all started for me when the grand children came along and I decorated the house for our parties.  This picture is from one of them but I do not know how the ghost got in there or where he went!

I have had Mia staying with me for a couple of days, she is such a joy and makes me laugh with the things she comes out with.  We took the bus into town as she had never been on a double decker bus before so that was good.  We did some painting, I am sure hers will be master pieces lol.  We also watched a lot of children’s TV and films in bed, with some chocolate of course.  So even though she is 3 it has been a relaxing couple of days.

I am getting a bit nervous now about this NaNoWriMo as I am not sure how prepared I am, I keep thinking of other bits to put in the planning.  I guess when it all starts on the 1st it will all fall in to place. OH MY GOD, THAT’S SUNDAY!

I am off to look over my notes.  I did think that I would blog every day during November so it keeps me motivated.  What a stupid idea? lol
