THE BLACKBULL, HUNGRY HORSE IN FOLKESTONE, KENT
What a super lunch we had last week, attended by all nine ladies with no mishaps! I know I was surprised as well. Although I did manage to give away the secret santa by saying that myself and Sheila used brown paper so we were doing our bit for the environment. We all got some super gifts so secret santa did very well this year.
I enjoyed the patè and the vegan soup was very nice so Sheila said. We did have to wait for our main course but as we always have so much to say it wasn’t really a problem and they did very kindly give us another bottle of Prosseco on the house. I think that made us talk even more!
I think the favourite was the salmon and of course the full turkey dinner, the steak was a bit tough which was a real shame.
As usual the desserts went down very well so all was good. The service was excellent considering they were very busy for a Wednesday lunchtime.
A bit legless!
I really do not think we drank a lot considering there was nine of us but a great time was had by all of us and we now have ages to wait until the next lunch in January. It really does make the months go quick and now its time to think about the birthdays again.
I would like to take this opportunity of thanking The Blackbull Hungry Horse for their service and pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant.
Happy dining guys
