I took friends down to the Folkestone Arm on bank holiday Sunday as the weather was glorious after all the rain we have had.  At the end of the Arm you can find the Champagne Bar run by Simon, what an unexpected and great find; I had to have a glass, just for research of course!  The place was very busy with all tables taken, not surprising with the view and sometimes you can see some dolphins swimming about.

Price is very reasonable and the added strawberry makes it a pleasure to drink.  I had a quick chat with Simon and he is hoping to be in the small lighthouse which is situated at the end of the Arm by next weekend, so the champagne will be flowing even when it is raining.  Piped music completes the atmosphere and makes this the place to be on the Arm.
