When I was asked to review these favours I wasn’t sure what to expect, so I was really pleased when they arrived. This is such a simple present but because you can personalise them it makes it a lovely, well thought of gift. Due to the current pandemic going on all over the world, we are spending more time indoors with our loved ones, family and friends. Spending some time to personalise their presents this year is going to mean so much and if money is tight then these make such a thoughtful gift. If you live alone then even just having someone visit you or phone you can really make your day plus have a good impact on your mental health. Let’s spend some time this year thinking about the presents we gift and their impact.
I loved the cute contract you can fill in, makes it a special contract for who you are gifting it to. The selection of cards you get in the box are things you can do for most people but then you get a few blank cards. These blank cards you can write on can be anything that you could do for the person you are giving it to, this makes it very personal for them.
The writing is clear on the contract and cards plus all made in stiff cardboard so will not get all bendy and tatty.
The box of favours made for anyone that deserves the personal touch.
I love the way some of these favours are just so simple but could actually mean the world to someone. The box is strong so will last as I am sure it will be opened and shut a lot of times. I can think of lots that I would like written on the cards if they were for me.
Wash the car.
Clean the oven
Weed the garden
Do the ironing
Make a cocktail
Clean windows…….my list could go on and on!
I thought that the idea of putting something else in with the box of favours was really good, like this pink mug in with the tea or coffee card. Popcorn in with the movie one. You could have a beauty session with the massage card. You can let your imagination go wild with the blank cards that you fill in yourself.
Ben from Box of Favours supports many charities and this year it will be ‘One Tree Planted’, so from now on, for EVERY Box Of Favours sold he will donate $1 to the charity ‘One Tree Planted’. For every dollar, they receive they will plant a tree. Ben did this a few years ago with Box Of Favours over Christmas and they managed to plant 2000 trees around the world which is technically a small forest! What a brilliant effort, let’s hope they can match that effort or even beat it this year.
