Not too far from Helston and a pleasant drive but again the roads just big enough for two cars, it must be awful in the summer with all the tourists here and I do wonder why they have not upgraded the roads.  The high street was not very long but everything you needed was there so we did a bit of shopping.
Lunchtime so we decided to have fish and chips, we both had enough of the cream teas but we have got some to take home.

Lizard Point which is near to where we were staying had a few gift shops with some lovely things and some packs of Deonshire cream tea’s.

The holiday site we are staying on is close to the sea but the sand is a grey colour and not very nice at all.  We are also near the Navy base and every night from about 9.20 the helicopters start their practise runs out to sea and around this corner of Cornwall.  I could just go to sleep as was so tired but they did keep Corinne awake every night.  Sometimes they went on for hours.  I do think they could of said something in the brochure about the park but I guess no body would stay here if they knew, I don’t suppose they do it all the time.
