BEST OF NOVEMBER

What a busy month that was and in some ways I am pleased it is over and everything went ok. I think there were three main things that stood out for me and they were the National Novel Writing month which I did fail on and only wrote about 22,000 words but I was still pleased with myself and let’s face it a few words on the paper is better than none!

I also carried on doing the Storytime at the Wellbeing Centre where we have had some pretty good subjects and some super stories, I just love it when someone says I can’t write but then they read out a beautiful story that they wrote themselves.  There were also some brilliant things for sale at the centre so I have been trying the CBD oil bombs and melts and I would recommend them.

Dinners and time spent with the family are always good and now we are all looking forward to Christmas and parties together. The family all came to my book event at The Chambers, I had 31 authors in one room selling their books and chatting to each other and their readers. What an absolutely brilliant afternoon, it really could not have gone any better with everyone saying they really want to do it again.

Then there was the usual Acadamy FM radio shows that I did with Kay, we had an extra one last month with some authors, that was fun. Will be on again this week. I have read and reviewed a few books and am now in front till January so I can read some books that I have bought over Christmas.  My total for the year now is 70 so only ten more for my target!

I loved this picture of the cat in the doll’s bed, if she had a bed she would not go in it! So that was a condensed version of a great November. We now head into December where my writing group are doing a door on the Living Advent Calender on the 10th and once that is over, the presents will be wrapped and then I can spend the month writing, reading and watching Christmas films with the family, I can’t wait.
