Very sorry for the lack of post’s over the last week but I really have been a bit busy with grandchildren, finishing the web-site and dealing with a few problems. I had trouble connecting the blog to the website but I have received an email today so I will crack on with that tonight and hopefully it can go live. I think the combination of a new laptop and Windows 8 and it being a few years since I have made a web-site that it has been very stressful and hard at times. If it all goes well tonight at least I will feel very proud of myself.

I have to share with you a phone call I had last night from one of my friends, she has two children, girl 14 and boy 10 they have an iPhone and iPad. The girl read on Twitter that you can make your battery last a lot, lot longer if you put it in the microwave, maybe some people would take the battery out and try it, not a good idea but anyway, the girl put the iPhone and iPad in the microwave and zapped them!!!!! Boy crying, girl grounded. Do the children of today believe everything they read on social media sites? This could be every worrying and I think there has to be more parental control over what and where they are reading and looking at the Internet. This is becoming so much harder to do now as they have internet on their phones so are not under our control as much. Once we got over the shock of what she had done we did have a bit of a chuckle and I think that will be one of the things that stays remembered for ever!

I am off for a pampering session later and hair cut so hopefully will feel full of beans after that and will crack on with my list of jobs.

Have a good day x

Oh, dear! I would hope to have not fallen for that at 14, but you never know πŸ™‚ still an iPad back then would have been a pad to keep your glass eye! Before tech, the days were simpler πŸ™‚

Oh my goodness, what a nightmare! I think the children of today are as impressionable as we were but the difference is that we only really had our parents and adults as guidance, nowadays they have the whole wide world to fill their heads with ideas. It is quite funny, but only after the fact! Good luck with all your techno bits tonight, look forward to hearing the progress. πŸ™‚
