Woo Hoo summer has arrived here in lovely Folkestone, the beach, the fountains and parks are full of excited children and adults. The Harbour Arm was very busy last night which was so good to see. They are even saying that it will carry on all weekend!
I had the summer event booklet through the post, there are some exciting things happening at the Quarterhouse this summer. There is a 6 week writing course that I will attend as these always get me going to write many more words than usual. I also thought the book group was a great idea, I can promote the books I review and also get some good feedback about books I have not read but really should do. Very exciting times and I am so pleased there is something for writers and readers.
I am also really liking the food assembly and will be getting my strawberry plants from there this year.
I have started to sort the garden out, starting with the plant pots but think I will have to get a gardener to do some basic hard work then I can carry on with the pottering about, as I call it.
Today I will be outside doing writing, reading and relaxing. My back is much better but a bit limiting regarding bending over especially later in the day, I am so pleased it did not last as long as it did last time, I ended up on Jodie’s floor for about 6 days, not good.
Have you got any plans for the weekend?
Sending sunny sunshine smiles to you all.
